There’s no better cure for life’s problems and stresses than being in the great outdoors, whilst also enabling volunteers to get physically active and meet new people through conservation of the natural environment.
Get involved with your local park and Green Space and learn new skills, meet new people and be part of your local community by joining The Conservation volunteers Chingford Green Gym. Creating new habitats, planting new trees and plants and looking after the local green spaces. Sessions take place on Wednesdays. We provide all tools and refreshments.

We'll be making bat boxes to hang in Lloyd Park followed by a bat talk, and a walk around Lloyd Park using detectors to locate and identify bats. Adults only please. Walk at 9pm
Meet by stables building next to tennis court. Adults only, over 13s by request
